The end of November marked a special celebration for ComputerTel, as it reached 30 years in Business.
The company was created to meet the needs of the Banking and Finance Sector in London's square Mile.
ComputerTel's MD Phil Haynes takes up the story. " ComputerTel began life as me and my tool bag travelling around every inch of The City to repair or carry out maintenance checks on the large Racal and Dictaphone Reel To Reel Machines. If you wanted to listen back to a recording from the previous week, it would take you another week to find that specific call, as the tapes were only capable of playing in real time!"
" We've seen an incredible change in technology and the requirements & provisions of call recording systems over this time and the specialities of Telecoms and IT were considered two seperate entities of expertise, but now, they've converged and evolved into a new generation of Communications Technology that will be even more exciting to see evolve and become "the norm" and we look forward to being part of the journey for another 30 years!".
