 Following a prestigious event held at Detling Showground, Maidstone, Kent on 12th June 2008, ComputerTel were announced as the Winners of the Kent Business Awards 2008, in the Customer Service category.
Managing Director, Philip Haynes spoke after collecting the award on the company's behalf. "I am absolutely gobsmacked to win this award. It was only possible however by the sheer hard work and dedication of our staff."
ComputerTel were also finalists in the overall Judges Excellence Award. This award was chosen for the best all-round company selected from the 32 finalists. A Judging Panel from Kent County Council chose four companies as finalists and ComputerTel was one of them.
"Just being considered for this additional award was an extremely flattering bonus." said Operations Director Sarah-Jane Heber-Hall. "We are delighted that ComputerTel and it's staff are capable of being considered for The Business Excellence Award. The actual winners, The Royal British Legion Industries, were worthy winners however, so we shouldn't be too disappointed".
